The #2 week

After writing the first blog text, I kind of got lazy and missed the next two weeks. However now I'm trying to make that up and continue the series of these blog texts.

I have totally forgotten what we did in the second week, but I'm glad that other classmates have been active in here so I can memorize from their texts about the excercises and stuff. And I just realized at the moment that I'm too lazy to write anything or do this blog text, so I'll go to throw some basketball and come back later, hopefully more energic and willingly to check those background facts.

In the second week the best thing in my opinion was the exercise about trying to explain those medical words and terms, because so many of those words I wasn't familiar with before and I still don't know all of them, so it's always good and useful to learn new words and spread your word storage.

Now when I start to think again, I think that listening that one chapter where was told about the "Harvard" research of two groups of students, was the best thing from that week. In that chapter there were randomly selected students in two groups in no particular order, and the other group was told that the tests shows that they will succeed in their lives (that test didn't base on anything), and the other group was told that according to the tests they will not succeed in their life such as in school or work (still that test didn't base on anything). And I think the most stunning thing in this is the result that the group which was told that they will success they really did, and just only because they were told that they will. Only because they were told that they will be succesfull they believed it and because of that they succeeded. The other group which was told that "they will be nothing" suprisingly turned like that, and after the school most of them were unemployment unlike the other group

I think it's astonishing how remarkable the human mind is and how it can affect so greatly in everything. I just hope that people would see that.

Hopefully this wasn't fully off topic, I just got excited about that chapter's text and the whole idea behind it.
