The second week started and we kept talking. Things have been pleasant so far. There have been enough homework so far. I like that we do not get that much homework. Just enaugh to keep us focused .
I learned new words during this week. Glossary sections can come really handy in the future because words are used quite often in our daily life. We did read them out loud and had conversations with our partners.
Phone language exercises with our partners was also fun and teaching. It can be bit different between English and Finnish speakers. It is useful to learn speak English on the phone too. It would be really tricky speak English on the phone without practising. These exercises helped me a lot and now I have some experience of the speaking over the phone.
I was also interested about Merjo's real life stories. Even native speakers can get in awkward situation and all we can do is that we learn about them and try to figure out different solutions to get things go on smoothly and less awkward.
